TRAVEL / ARRIVAL
Groups, when planning your travel to Caringal, should plan to arrive as one Group. This makes it easier for our admin people to register you. Meet up at Moe (Maccas is always a good spot) and then travel to the camp as a Group.

JUBILEE QUALIFICATION
This camp can be used for 4 nights towards the Jubilee qualification of nights under canvas

ID CARDS
ALL Leaders/Adults that will be attending MUST provide a passport style photograph electronically. This should be sent to photos.corroboree@outlook.com by the 1st March 2024 and include your full name, membership number and Group.
Whilst on site you should display your ID card at all times. They will be issued when you arrive for registration.

TRAILERS
ABsOLUTELY NO TRAILERS of any size, shape or design - including kitchen trailers - will be allowed on camping grounds. We will give details of parking arrangements for trailers in a future update but Groups will have to plan to be without them.

DRINKING WATER
There are numerous stand pipes on site but this is tank water. It is only safe to drink if boiled. It can be used for washing up etc.
Drinking Water cubes will be placed around the site with safe drinking water. Please use this only for drinking and ensure the atps are turned off.

OPEN FIRES
We will have to see nearer the date if we will allow open fires. Caringals policy os that is the CFA ratings are HIGH or above no open fires will be allowed. If fires are permitted they will need to be in a fire drum and not on the ground. NO use of chainsaws is allowed - there is an abundance of wood on the ground. Unattended fires will be extinguished

MEDIA
Pictures and video will be taked for scouting and other purposes. If there are any youth who cannot be photographed - please let the camera person know.
